This notice is for residents of California. It adds to our Privacy Policy and explains the rights you have under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the “CCPA”), and how to use them. Eight to Eighty Eyewear (“we,” “us,” or “our”) sells eyewear to eyecare companies. The names, contact details and other information of the people who work at those companies and order from us are personal information under the CCPA.
1. We Do Not Sell or Share Your Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We did not in the past 12 months. We use no advertising or third-party analytics tools on our Website, so there is nothing for you to opt out of, and we do not display a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
2. Personal Information We Collect
In the past 12 months we collected the categories of personal information below. Our Privacy Policy describes each item in detail (section 1), how we collect it (section 2) and what we use it for (section 3).

We collect this from you directly, automatically as you use the Website, and from service providers such as payment processors and shipping carriers, as described in section 2 of our Privacy Policy. We use it for the purposes in section 3 of that policy: to fill and ship your orders, run your account, answer you, keep the Website secure, and meet our legal obligations. We use your sign-in details only to sign you in and protect your account, and do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
We disclose personal information only to the service providers named above, when the law requires it, or in a sale or transfer of our business. We keep it for the periods in section 8 of the Privacy Policy.
3. Your Rights
If you are a California resident you have the right to:
- Know: ask what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we use it, who we disclose it to, and for a copy of it.
- Delete: ask us to delete the personal information we have collected from you, with some exceptions the law allows, such as information we need to complete an order or keep for tax and warranty records.
- Correct: ask us to correct personal information that is wrong.
- Opt out of sale or sharing: we do not sell or share personal information, as explained in section 1.
- Limit sensitive personal information: we use it only to provide the Website and secure your account, so there is no further use to limit.
- Equal treatment: we will not treat you differently, with different prices or service, for using any of these rights.
4. How to Make a Request
You can ask us any of the above by:
- Calling us toll-free at 877-248-8280, or
- Emailing customerservice@eighttoeightyeyewear.com and saying it is a CCPA request.
To protect your information, we will ask you to confirm who you are before we act, by matching what you tell us to what we already hold, such as your name, company, account number and email address. We will not ask for more than we need for that.
We will confirm that we have your request within 10 business days and answer within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and may take up to 45 more days. There is no charge. We may decline a request that is repeated or clearly unfounded, and will tell you why. You can ask to know what we hold up to twice in 12 months.
You can also have someone act for you, an “authorized agent.” We will need your written permission for them to do so, and may still ask you to confirm your identity with us directly. If the agent holds a power of attorney under California law, we will ask for that instead.
5. Children
Our Website is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
6. Changes to This Notice
We may update this notice, for example if our practices or the law change. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date.
